Engineering hub / UPS, storage & backup power

UPS, storage & backup power

Assess critical loads, runtime, batteries and safe source transfer.

Estimate your needs
OVERVIEW

How we approach your project

A UPS serving sensitive equipment differs from long-duration building backup. We first define critical loads, allowable transfer time and runtime, then assess technology, connections, protection and maintenance.

ENGINEERING SCOPE

Assessment & work scope

  1. Classify critical loads, interruption tolerance and apparent power (kVA)
  2. Calculate runtime using battery discharge curves and system efficiency
  3. Review bypass, maintenance, source transfer, earthing and protection
  4. Commissioning, alarms and documentation per agreed scope
DELIVERABLES

Typical outputs, subject to agreed scope

  • Initial UPS, battery and protection concept
  • Site, ventilation and maintenance requirements where relevant
  • Acceptance and commissioning tests per contract scope

This is not a substitute for measured-load assessment and qualified battery/protection compatibility checks.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does 10 kVA always mean 10 kW?

No. Permitted watt output depends on the unit rating, output power factor and operating conditions.

Does kWh alone determine runtime?

No. Load power, discharge limits, inverter efficiency, temperature and battery aging all matter.
